Eyecatchers; Oh Crap. Pinch Me, Is This A Dream?

Thanks Instagram for ruining my life. Unsuspectingly scrolling through random pictures and out of nowhere hit by THIS:

No not the shoes, the skirts! I totally went crazy, all I have ever been dreaming of: tulle, mesh, midi, pleated, clean, subtle in the most dramatic way possible. And then I looked at the caption. @wmag postet about Dior's Spring Couture Collection 2015.

Dior. Crap. Haute Couture. Oooh crap.
I could buy a house, a car, a new bike (more like two), travel for a year, get all my tattoos at once OR I could buy this dream of a skirt. LOOK AT THIS! Stuff had me like:

Source: style.com

Pure Dream. Pure DREAM! I need to win the lottery. Or a sugar daddy. Aaaaw yeah!
I'll just ignore the fact that I think normal people could never get a hand on couture collections anyway. This probably is the highest level of first world problems I ever experienced, but also the highest level of objectophilia sooo...yeah.

And right at the very moment when I comforted myself with 'you don't have the appropriate shoe for this kind of skirt anyway...', Instagram came up with Topshop Unique's Spring Summer '15 Collection:

C'mon, really?! One prettier than the other.

You sure Marc Zuckerberg can't read minds or stuff? Damn it.

G&A; Dedicated To Kannibalen Records

Funny, how things come together sometimes.
About a month ago, my favourite label Kannibalen Records released one brilliant track after another.
It all began with Dabin and their dreamy track called 'Bloodless', the snowball effect kicked in and I discovered some many other perfect tracks.
I clearly remember my discovery of Kai Wachi, Apashe and Snails this summer and I was remarkably impressed how the founders BTSM have a way for exceptional talents.

Anyways, after their release-explosion a month ago I spammed all my social media accounts with their tracks but I thought the idea of a whole blog post only filled with soundcloud-links would be a bit boring.
The day BTSM and Apashe released their genius track 'The Grave', I couldn't resist and enter a giveaway by them and I won two of their T-Shirts!

I wanted the pictures to be something special, just like Kannibal Rec are to me. So I made use of the early sunset in wintertime and experimented with lights and wet weather. I actually took the pictures with my small digicam because I don't have a self-timer remote for my DSLR. This tiny little fella does some incredible work!

Dressing Up; Overly Attached

Sometimes I hate my emotional attachment.
I know that it helped me a lot and that I'm proud of being what I am, but right now I simply hate it.

Recently yesterday I binge-watched 'Life Behind Bars' Season 3 and it brought me to tears - twice.
I absolutely rediscovered my love for gravity mountainbiking this year, with all the ups and downs that I had to face, but right now I just really hate myself for being so overly attached.
I want to post videos and pictures the whole day, clean my bike with a toothbrush to make it really dirty right after, I want to work my ass off to affort my second and even a third bike, I want to watch the leaves falling on the trails, I want to ride my bike every mothereffin day and it overcharges me unbearably.
It literally feels like I hopelessly fell in love, I wear my rose-colored glasses 24/7 and I forget about everything else because I'm so ridiculously attached to my stupid hobby.
I have to finish uni and start my bachelor thesis but I'm so hungry for offseason, I want to set up a whole workout plan, do yoga, build up muscles and endurance, improve my technique and lose my fears. I have so much energy in me and I don't know where to go with it - why don't I feel the urge to type the shit out of my bachelor thesis? Even right now I would have to finish my new lesson plan instead of blogging. Damn it.
I hope this phase is gonna be over soon because I feel like my little heart can't bear this for too long. Up until then I'm gonna show everybody my newfound favourite sweater and let everybody know that I'm kind of an objectophile. Damn it! Stupid.

Dressing Up; Change

Actually I'm not really good with words at the moment.
It was time for a change again and buying two things that I always have been too shy to wear to, are one part of it: A snapback and a 'real' crop top.
I struggled with finding a cap that I really want to 'represent' but the first letter of my surname has a lot of meaning to me.

I also got caught by a music genre of which I never would've thought that I'll love it so much: Hardstyle.
So if you're the experimental type, try out this genius Podcast:

Dressing Up; Bold Basic #3

The Warehouse Glasses also turned into a favourite. If only the sun was shining properly...
And yes, I jumped on the 'I-cut-my-jeans-in-the-knee-area-because-I-wanna-be-cool'-train and I love it! I hope I'm not gonna cut all of my jeans.

Shirt: Hype Clothing, Belt: Primark, Pants: Primark (modified), Shoes: Nike (thrifted and messed)

KANNIBALEN Records fill my heart with love...all of their producers are geniuses, they release one sick track after another. First of all I discovered Apashe, you NEED to check him out HERE!
Or, simply enjoy the complete range of producers and click above. My third favourite after Apashe and Kai Wachi is Snails.

Dressing Up; Bold Basic #2

Skirt-Time! I love this skirt so much, I never thought that I would wear it almost everyday. It just goes with everything! As you may know, I dislike accessories but in this case, I found this necklace a good match.
But shame on me....this outfit is completely by Primark. Is it apparent?

Top: Primark (Men's section), Skirt: Primark, Shoes: Primark, Necklace: Thrifted, Glasses: Warehouse, Watch: Ice Watch

(Look at the babyfaces on my kneecaps! Now you'll never see normal kneecaps again!)

P.S.: You HAVE to check out Kai Wachi's tracks....this dude is so sick, I'm completely fangirling over every single track he made. And I thought this was impossible after my Hucci-Mania. So go on and click HERE.

Dressing Up; Bold Basic #1

Some things happened recently.
First: My bike fell apart. (Literally!) But fortunately, I found someone who's gonna fix it quick and decent.
Second: My wardrobe got a facelift (again.)
Third: I got completely absorbed by trap music and its subgenres. (plus a lot of hardstyle)
Fourth: I'm addicted to Instagram. (@pointedwhitepedals)

Due to those four reasons, I decided to start a little series again. While I kept seeking for decent tracks, producers and labels, I also came across some badass girls who caught me with their bold but basic style.
Enjoy!

P.S.: If you want to listen to several genres but only one producer...your right address is UFO!.

Dressing Up; Mom's Choice

It feels like spring everybody! Unfortunately the trees haven't grown any leaves yet...so it still looks a little bit dull outside. But over the last week there were only two bad days, the rest was pure sun without any cloud! As I am on holidays at uni right now, I did my favourite things all day long: choosing clothes, riding my bike, dancing and sleeping! One day, my mom accompanied me while looking for some nice spring items and she found this lovely cardigan. Thanks!

Impressions; How To Change A Life #2

Due to the greatness of change, the only thing that was suffering is my fashion vein. I spent the days dressing up, but recording them on tape or getting new inspirations completely fell by the wayside. But when Stefan came up with the idea of taking some fashion shots, the shopping fever caught me again.

This is what I got (except for my lovely pointed wedges)

Dressing Up; Free Run The Orange

Yesterday my best friend had her 22nd birthday!
So I went shopping for a nice present for her but weak as I am, I ended up wandering around some shops following the big red 'SALE' posters.
In the end, I found myself with some kind of obsession over orange coloured pieces so this pretty patterned top found the way into my closet. The fabric is perfect for our current temperatures, love it!
My new favourite shoes, these pretty blue/lilac-grey Nike Free's were a bargain, too, uuuuh.

Eyecatchers; My Summer-Wishlist

It has been more than two months since I uplodaed my own pictures and this really annoys me! I have so many ideas but I had no camera to implement all of them and now I am almost exploding! But luckily it was my birthday yesterday and my parents were so kind to sponsor me a new camera. And here it is, my new work tool! It's a Canon PowerShot SX220 HS

I'm a student so I have no money for a DSLR, but I love this little beauty already.

BUT that's not the thing I wanted to talk about today.
While the battery still needs to charge, I have another inspirational-like topic for you.
Just in time, the sun started to smile on my birthday after lots and lots of rainy days. So I started to think about what I want to wear to smile back at the sun!
These are my favourite pieces which I'm hopefully able to call my own soon.

1. Club75 - Ed Banger Records Sweater 2. Monki - Maxi Dress 3. Cheap Monday - Pointed Flats Pink 4. Bershka -  'I Love Riding My Bike With You' Bag 5. Monki - Cat Ears Ring 6. ASOS - Pointed Slingbacks
